一、History
1) 1903
In 1903, Ogival was born in Switzerland with the logo of “lucky fish”, introducing the precise navigation timer to the sailing world at that time.
2) LOGO
Ogival uses fish as its logo, which is considered the totem of luck in Latin America. In Europe, as a symbol of love, Ogival brings eternal luck and happiness to its owners. In China, fish are also a sign of luck and happiness.
3) the founder of Ogival
A young man interested in watch making, Rene Brandt endowed life to this lucky fish. Thanks to his ideal for and experience in Swiss watchmaking craftsmanship, he initiated Ogival's centurial legend.
4) 1929
At that time, the Swiss watch making industry was based in La Chaux-de-Fonds. In order to drive Ogival to its peak, in 1929, Rene Bandt officially registered Ogival Watch Company in La Chaux-de-Fonds, the center of Swiss timepieces.
5) 1939
Rene Bandt, the founder of Ogival, introduced the technology of gold/silver-plated cases and bracelets into the Swiss watchmaking industry. Along with the reputed jewelry design in Switzerland, he launched inticate and graceful jewelry watches, which have always been the favorite of European gentlemen and ladies.
6) 1949
Ever since its exhibition in Basel, Switzerland in 1949, Ogival has won numerous awards and become one of the best-known Swiss watch brands.
7) 1950
In 1950, the Vatican ordered a Popo Model from Ogival, celebrating the honorable appointment of PIUS.
8) 1958
In 1958, 35 French explorers successfully completed their adventure in an underground cave named Coume Ouarnede in Pyrenees, France, wearing Ogival Multi-menu watches. Thanks to Ogival’s precise timekeeping, outstanding waterproof performance, consistent finishing, excellent quality and extreme reliability, they accomplished this feat.
9) 1966
In 1966, Swiss Watch Making Association awarded honor certifications to Ogival’s Multifunction Watch and Precise Navigation Timer for Diving.

Mr. Eddy Burgener, Ogival’s Chief Designer, is highly recognized in the Swiss watch industry.

1) 1970s-1990s
Ogival devotes itself to developing Asia markets, including Hong Kong, Mainland China, Japan, Korea, and Taiwan.
With its familiarity with the Asian business model, Ogival expands into Southeast Asia, and successfully opens the markets of Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and Burma.
2) 1993

4) 2003
Camellia, the well-known jewelry watch series is created by Ogival designers. The patented dial is a tribute to the graceful elegance of camellia. It is distinguished by the diamond-studded relief depicting a camellia using the cutting-edge jewelry making technique. 5) 2005
Ogival introduces its Night Hawks Series by marrying its centennial craftsmanship for watchmaking with the most advanced technology of self-illuminated traserlight. This heavily invested technology is the latest and the most exquisite development in composite fluorescence industry. Ogival Night Hawks Series applies the traserlight tubes on the hands, and the hour indicators on the dial. Stephanie Xiao, an actress known as the first beauty in Taiwan, is appointed as Ogival’s brand ambassador, because her personalities perfectly correspond to the brand’s image.
